“You ask a lot of questions,” a friend once joked.

It’s true. I’ve always been intrigued with people’s stories. The career they picked, the person they married, the mid-life crisis that propelled a mid-life change.

I read memoirs, I peruse blogs, I watch the Biography channel.

And, also, I write.

For some 20 years, I worked as a writer for health and social services organizations. I wrote to educate, to generate awareness, and to raise funds.

Today, with Leaves of Your Life, I write to honor and preserve people's memoirs. I write my passion.

I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and am certified as a guided autobiography instructor by the Birren Center. I currently live in Herndon, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C.

If you’re interested in telling your life story, I’d be honored to write it for you. You can read excerpts of other biographies I’ve written here or here. Or maybe you’d like to participate in one of my workshops.

Together, we'll create a book for you and your family to treasure.
